( This tweet is not an update but this video is so gooood! )

Booktube-A-Thon Day 1

Hello book lovers and happy Booktube-a-Thon!!!

As I said on my previous posts, I’ll be posting daily updates for booktube-a-thon here in the next morning, so here it is the updates for day 1. Sorry for publishing it so late today.

Booktube-A-Thon TBR

Hi fellow booklovers.

I’ve been planning this reading challenge for a while and after many days of indecision, I think I have built my TBR for this year’s Booktube-a-thon.

If you never heard of Booktube-a-thon before it is a reading challenge where people come together to read as many books as they can in one week. During this week they host challenges, giveaways and competitions and many people join booktube-a-thon such as famous booktubers and even authors. This reading challenge was created by Ariel Bisset and you can find more information in the booktube-a-thon youtube channel and website.

Personally, I don’t own a youtube channel, I guess I’m too shy for that, but I want to participate anyways so I’m going to join it. I won’t be reading the book that Ariel picked because it is not published in my language and I can’t find it anywhere.

Here’s my TBR:

1. Read a book with a person on the cover:Β

For this one I’m choosing The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater, I really enjoyed The Raven Boys but I can’t get attached to the second book in the series for some reason. Since it is booktube-a-thon, I decided I’m going to push through and try to read this book, because I bet that this series is amazing.

2.Β Read a hyped book:

I am finally giving up and I’ll reading City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare, and I want to read this for 3 reasons: Sebastian Morgenstern (and I got a huge spoiler about him on pinterest just now), I want to read The Infernal Devices and I want to read The Dark Artificies.

3.Β Finish a book in one day:

Random Illustrated Facts Β by Mike Lowery was a illustrated book sent to me by Net Galley so I could review it, I’m actually having a bit of a problem with downloading it but I believe this is the one I’m going to read in one day. Besides it must be short and fast paced so I’m really looking forward to reading it.

4. Read about a character that is very different from you:

For this, I’m going to choose The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan. Do I need to explain why me and Percy are so different? I mean he fights monsters and gods and I’m on my couch practically all day.

5. Finish a book completly outdoors:

I hope to get this over as soon as possible because out there is worst than the dessert during the day, I think I’ll burn to death if I step outside, so I’ll be reading The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery (I hope I got that name right). I saw a cartoon when I was a kid about the adventures of the little prince and I believe I’ll really enjoy it.

6. Read Β a book you bought because of the cover:

10600242

I fell in love with this cover and this is a feminist manifesto, it is called How to be a woman by Caitlin Moran and I hope to read it during Booktube-a-thon.

7. Read seven books:

I am alsoΒ planning on continuing to read the Harry Potter series, so I’ll be reading Harry PotterΒ and the Goblet Of Fire by J.K. Rowling, this doesn’t need introduction, if you don’t know Harry Potter: have you been living under a rock?; if you don’t like Harry Potter, what are you doing with your life?

This is my Booktube-a-thon TBR and I really hope that I can finish these 7 books, I probably won’t but I can dream.

Hope you enjoyed this post, if you did check out my other posts.
